Company Description
PolyMet Mining Corp., together with its subsidiary, Poly Met Mining, Inc., engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of natural resource properties. It controls 100% of the NorthMet copper-nickel-precious metals ore body through a long-term lease; and owns 100% of the Erie Plant, a processing facility in the mining district of the Mesabi Range in northeastern Minnesota. The company was formerly known as Fleck Resources Ltd. and changed its name to PolyMet Mining Corp. in June 1998. PolyMet Mining Corp. was incorporated in 1981 and is based in Richmond, Canada.
